LPS Auction Solutions, LLC (LPSAS)

Evan Gladstone is Managing Director of LPS Auction Solutions, LLC, a division created in October 2009. His primary responsibility is to help integrate LPSAS into the LPS end-to-end service solution by providing innovative auction strategies that closely align with LPS’ other business units and services.

Bringing more than 35 years in the real estate auction space, Evan runs LPSAS’ Chicago-based auction team and serves as primary spokesperson. During his career, he pioneered some of the first scattered site residential REO auctions for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and HUD in the early 1980s, and later the use of sealed bid sales for commercial real estate, first for the Resolution Trust Company (RTC) and then for major banks and corporations including Circle K, K Mart, GE Capital, and BP North America.

Since joining LPS in 2009, he continues as Executive Managing Director of NRC Realty & Capital Advisors, LLC, which he founded in 1989 as the National Real Estate Clearinghouse, Inc. Chicago-based NRC specializes in the divesting of commercial real estate through sealed bid sales. Under his guidance, NRC was one of the RTC’s major auction and sealed bid contractors, selling nearly $1 billion in commercial and residential real estate between 1990 and 1994 throughout the country.

In 2002 and 2003, Evan was hired to conduct two landmark bankruptcy liquidations on behalf of GE Capital, as secured lender of Swifty Serve Stores and Clark Retail companies. Using a ‘buy one, some or all’ sealed bid format, he was able to generate 9,000 hard-money bids for more than 1,200 convenience stores and close those transactions in less than 90 days.

He began his real estate career in 1974 at Sheldon Good & Company, and began conducting residential real estate auctions in 1982 for a variety of financial and institutional lenders. By the end of the decade he had overseen the sale of more than 4,000 homes.

Evan is a licensed real estate broker in multiple states and a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, the National Auctioneers Association, the National Association of Convenience Stores, the International Counsel of Shopping Centers, the International Franchise Association and the Turnaround Management Association.

He attended the University of California, Berkeley and the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Evan is on the board of the Self-Reliance Foundation, a national non-profit working to empower underserved communities to improve their quality of life.

Anthony Bergamino helped launch LPS Auction Solutions as the best-in-class provider of residential REO auctions. He works with lenders, developers and REO servicers to market and sell commercial and industrial real estate, single family homes, condominiums and developable land on an accelerated basis - at live auction events, by sealed bid and via online auctions.

Tony is a Senior Vice President of NRC Realty & Capital Advisors, LLC, LPS’ strategic commercial real estate partner. His previous experience includes serving as a real estate partner in a major global law firm, a Vice President of Equity Residential (NYSE: EQR), an S&P 500 real estate company, and as Senior Vice President of Acquisitions for American Invsco, the nation's leading condominium developer.

He also has extensive experience in acquisitions, secured financings, restructurings, workouts, big box retail leasing, construction, shopping center development and condominium conversions.

A 1988 graduate of the University of Chicago Law School, he received a B.A summa cum laude from Stony Brook University, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a Rhodes Scholar nominee.

As Vice President of LPS Auction Solutions, David Levy is responsible for ensuring that each auction sale conducted by LPS Auction Solutions is a success for both the client and buyer. As operational team leader, he oversees a staff of dedicated professionals in the areas of marketing, website development, data management, customer service, auction day operations and escrow closing.

David joined LPSAS as Vice President in October 2009. Previously he was the Auction Manager for Chicago-based NRC Realty & Capital Advisors, LLC, where he led residential auction sales in markets across America.

With his background in consumer product marketing, David brings a unique buyer focus to the organization, ensuring that LPSAS auctions are buyer-friendly, transparent, and easy to take part in.

David is a member of the National Auctioneers Association and the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) organization, an affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS®. A graduate of the Missouri Auction School and a licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker and Auctioneer, he frequently assists with charity auctions throughout the Chicagoland area.

He received his MBA from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
